To,

The Incharge,

English Club,

Satara.

Subject : Request for guidance to improve my English .

Respected Sir/Madam,

I am a student residing at Raman Baugh, Satara. I am writing this letter to inform you that I am not performing well in English. I feel the need to improve my language skills and therefore seek your guidance.

I have read the poster prepared by the English Club, and I have decided to follow the suggestions mentioned in it. I will read prose and poetry lessons purposefully and loudly, and enrich my vocabulary through newspapers and storybooks. I will also try to converse in simple English with my friends and teachers.

Further, I plan to write down new words, learn their meanings from the dictionary, and make it a habit to write my thoughts and ideas in English. Along with this, I will review my studies regularly to strengthen my knowledge.

I request you to kindly guide me further in developing my writing and speaking skills in English. Your advice will be valuable for my improvement.

Thank you.

Yours faithfully,

Shivam/Shivangi Patil
