Ans ;- The atmosphere on that day was  very pleasant ,the air and sea were silent .Ship was standing still in the sea water,the waves flowed over the rocks on very little .

Ans :- His wrong deed caused him harm,his ship was sinking,he would die.

(v) ‘But the Rover’s mirth was wickedness’. Explain this line in your own words with the help of the poem.

 Ans: Rover never liked the fame of Abbot of Arbelbrothok . He wanted to destroy the cause of his fame that to give pain to bell of Inchcape. So he was pleased with that thought.
